Day 1:
Nairobi - Maasai Mara
On Day 1, you’ll be picked up from your Nairobi hotel or the airport around 7:00 am to begin your journey to the Maasai Mara. Travel through the scenic Great Rift Valley and arrive in time for lunch at Enkorok Mara Camp, a comfortable mid-range tented camp located inside the reserve. In the afternoon, embark on your first game drive from 4:00 pm to 6:30 pm, where you’ll likely encounter lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, buffalo and many other animals. Return to the camp for dinner and your overnight stay.
Day 2:
Mara Game Drives
Day 2 is dedicated to a full-day safari adventure in the Masai Mara. With unlimited game drives, your group will explore the reserve’s rich ecosystems and wildlife, including the famous Big Five. Depending on the season, especially between July and October, you may witness the breathtaking Great Migration at the Mara River, where wildebeests and zebras cross in dramatic fashion, often stalked by crocodiles and predators. The river also hosts hippos and a wide range of birdlife. Optional activities include a visit to a local Maasai village for an authentic cultural experience. Return to the camp in the evening for dinner and overnight.
Day 3:
Departure
On Day 3, enjoy an early breakfast and check out before one last morning game drive. This is your chance to spot any animals you may have missed, such as hyenas, jackals, or cheetahs. After the game drive, begin the return journey to Nairobi with a scenic drive through the Rift Valley. Enjoy a stop for lunch along the way and arrive back in the city in the late afternoon, concluding your unforgettable Masai Mara group safari experience.
